Bertha married Bobby Parker on April 25, 1955; they share over 54 years of marriage prior to his passing on December 10, 2009.
She is survived by her three daughters Cherie Schooley, Tina (Brad) Jones & Pam Ward, sister MaryLouise Biggerstaff, five grandchildren Jason Schooley, Matt Jones, Ryan Jones, Tiana Ward & Kaila Ward, 12 great grandchildren and a couple of great great grandchildren that are due in the next few months.
In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by son-in-law Stephen Ward and grandson Christopher Parker.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 12PM-1PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale with funeral services beginning at 1PM. She will be laid to rest privately with Bobby in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
