My Granny loved sports! I will always remember all my soccer games she went to cheering me on and yelling at the other teams lol. As I got older and my kids got into sports she was still there for football, dance or whatever we had going on. She started my love of crafts and always loved to teach us anything she could. She was so proud of the family her and my Papa made; her amazing daughters, grandkids and all the great grandkids that filled her life. I will forever miss you and all the happiness you gave our family ♡

One of the first times I met Bette she told me how much my football team sucks and I just thought wow I can't believe she is talking football to me this woman is amazing. That is one of my favorite memories and I will always remember how she called me Mr Kyle and I will miss that. I love you Granny

What can I say about Granny memories there are so many. She has done so much for me in my life. As a child she was Handy Granny. I remember we were at a doctor's office when I was about 12 or so and she had everything we needed in her purse I asked her for like 3 different random things and she had them all one was a band aid I dont remember what else. So I said wow granny you sure are handy and that is how her nickname Handy Granny started. Then I remember when I was pregnate with my first son she took me to my drs appointments and one day on a special trip to Other Mothers and we went on a shopping spree followed by Manuel's which was my favorite place at the time. I remember every choir concert and everyone one of my sisters soccer games that she went to. I remember Every Birthday, Christmas and family get together she didn't need a reason for the family to get together. There are so many memories of her in everything, everyday. I will always miss you Granny but you will never be forgotten. I love you <3

The greatest memory I have of Granny is how her and papa treated me like family the Christmas I spent at their house. May you fly with the angels.

Aunt Bette, I will always remember the story you told me about dealing with a colicky baby for 36 hours straight. You went to put a bottle in a water filled pan on the stove to feed your daughter. Uncle Thad was deployed at the time. You sat down in your easy chair with the baby and the baby FINALLY decided to fall asleep. You did to of course. You woke up hours later and ALL of the water in the pan was gone. The formula was caked to the inside of the bottle and the ring and nipple had melted into the bottom of the pan. Someone was watching over you then. Say hi to Mom for me and until we meet again, enjoy the view.

Sorry for the lost of your wife and mother and grandmother. At times we wonder where we can turn to for comfort. At 2 Corinthians 1:4 shows that GOD is there for us. Please turn to him in prayer. At John 5:28,29 he also gives us something to look forward for in the future. He is a loving GOD and a caring one as well. Please accept my condolences and prayers for the lost of Bette Sowell.
