

Betty Jean Konik, age 92, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025. A woman of grace, strength, and unwavering love, she was a gentle soul with a stubborn streak that made her unforgettable.
Born on October 31, 1932, in Watertown, South Dakota, Betty lived a full and independent life, always putting family at the center of her world. She married the love of her life, Steven Edwards Konik, and together they built a family rooted in love, laughter, and devotion. After Steve’s passing, she carried his memory close until they were joyfully reunited in Heaven on September 22, 2025.
She will be remembered for her fierce independence, her loving heart, and the way she cared deeply for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a way of making each family member feel special and cherished. Her legacy lives on in the love she shared and the lessons she taught.
Betty leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Debra Walton, Michael Frazier, Mark Konik, and Ronald Frazier, along with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was reunited in Heaven with her devoted husband, Steve Konik, her sister, Ladonna Peters, and many beloved friends who preceded her in passing.
A celebration of her life will be held on her birthday, October 31, 2025 at Chapel of the Chimes at 7924 N 59th Ave, Glendale AZ, 85301. In place of flowers, the family invites you to honor Betty’s memory by supporting a charity of your choice, one that is meaningful to you.
Her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with the love of her life, and watching over her earthly family with the same gentle love she carried through her life.
