Boots you were a very nice lady and a woman in a class of your own.  It was wonderful knowing you and being a part of your family.  I know that you will be greatly missed by a lot of people.  Connie & I enjoyed your visit to see us on the weekends when you could come up to Camp Verde and we will deeply miss those visits.  We will see you again in heaven.  Please know this, I will take good care of Connie until we see you again.  You were the greatest friend that we could ask for.  We love you and miss you very much.

I remember when she signed you and Leon Jr up for 4H and that is when she started having Karen train you for barrell racing.  She was so proud of you when you won your first prize for barrell racing.  You had it in your blood Deb and your mother knew it.

I was just informed of the passing of your mother, Nancy called me and told me of your loss.  I am so sorry that you are having to go through this.

Your mother was a wonderful woman and mother, she proved that the 9 months you were in the hospital when you had your horse accident.  She pushed all of us even though she was told you would not make it.  

Your mother loved you so much and that is why she fought for you so hard back in 1979.  Even though she is gone she will always be with you as long as you keep her in your heart.

October 7, 2011 was the worst day of my life. My mother died. I was there when she took her last breathe; I know I had such wonderful family members with me to support me.  I had my daughter Robin, my niece Sabrina and her husband Tim, we watched awhile my mother took her last breath and see her pass into eternity, and part of me feels cheated that my mother was taken from me and my daughter, niece and my granddaughter.  I have been told I should feel fortunate that she was alive for me to tell her that I love her before she went to heaven but I am selfish and I want her here with me.
Losing your mother isn't something you get over -- ever. It's not a sadness that dulls with time. The sadness is always there -- it's just a matter of degrees. Every day is difficult. I feel on the verge of tears so many times and but I am trying not to show them in my voice or in front of my daughter or granddaughter to be strong for them.
My mother wasn't rich or pioneering or particularly intellectual. She didn't quote poetry or perform great works of charity. She rarely wrote much, except for the occasional letter. She never quite got the hang of the computer other than to get on Facebook to play her Farmsville and Fish World.
But... she was an amazing woman all the same in a class of her own. She had this fiery spirit that could not be contained. She had a full beautiful smile when it was genuine her smile glowed. She had this loud, bordering-on-cackle laugh, and a she loved to sing, she had a beautiful voice. She loved to bake especially for her bingo nights a Kival.  She made the most awesome Texas Sheet Cake and Pumpkin Bars.
I say I look like my mother and sound like her on the phone, but I had a mother who danced and made people notice and remember and miss her and want to be her friend for 69+ years.
She was so, so beautiful, flawless and all, and I hope that I can live the kind of life that's worthy of being her daughter.

We will always miss her and she will was be in are hearts and she was the best fisherwomen in are family i will never for get the time we spent at the lake when i was grow up i love u and miss u i know u be in all are heart in looking over us and we be with u someday love u and miss u

Sis, 
 I met you in 1979 when Joe and I brought mom out for vaction.  You were married to Glen & lived on a ranch.  Then again we came out you were married to Gene when we brought mom out again.  We kept in contact every day either by phone or email, mostly phone.  Then in 1991 we came & you were married to Cecil a great man.  You both then met Christopher out son with cerebral palsy.  We kept coming out on our vacations almost every other year, till now.  Then sis I talked you in to coming to our house in 2004 for a vist, you hadn’t been her in 30 years.  We had great times & you loved it so much Christopher loved to hear you talk to him on the phone & loved you.  He loved swimming in the pool & coming there to see you & Cecil.  He never forgets a name or person & you were his special Aunt Thelma.  Then you came back at Christmas time for winter to see snow & took lots of pictures of the snow & were so cold you couldn’t believe the temaputre was 19 below at the time.  We talked, laughed & cried at so many different times & stayed close as if we were sisters & not in-laws.  In December 23, 2009 Joe & I took you to Hawaii for 2 weeks & had a great time.  Joe, Christopher & I will you so much.  You will be with me always & the rest of the family will miss you.  Max, Bozo, Kathy &Peggy wish they all could be here with us.  Love ya forever & always.

My condolences to all of you during your time of grief. I hope you realise the comfort in knowing that Boots is in a far better place. Although she will always be loved and missed she will be with us all in our hearts.GOD BLESS

Debbie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I know it will be hard for you but you will get through it.  I know words are not good enough to make you feel better but I promise it will get easier through time.  Just believe that she is in heave she will always be beautiful, she will always be young and she will not be in pain anymore.  Keep her in your heart and she will be with you forever.

Debbie, I just recieve a call from Mike telling me your mother passed away.  I am so sorry sweetie that you are having to go through this.  It will get easier trust me I know.  I remember going to the wrecking yard and getting parts from your mother.  She was a great lady a class of her own and she will be greatly missed.
