A native Phoenician he was born on February 3, 1942.
Buddy was part of Teamsters #104 for many years until his retirement.
He married Evelyn “Sis” Rohde and they shared 51 years of marriage prior to her death on May 6, 2016.
Buddy loved to go fishing and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and, of course, summers in Pine Top.
He is survived by four children Robert “Bobby” Belleavoine, Vicki (Brian) Stark, Deborah Galloway & Richard (Sara) Strong, two sisters Shirley & Chris, 12 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren (with another on the way).
In addition to his wife, Sis, he was preceded in death by his parents Jack & Ruth Christensen, son Gary and sister Sandy.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 10-11AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. A celebration of Buddy’s life will begin at 11AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
