Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 7-9PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Deacon Gary Scott knew Carlos and will be officiating a private celebration of Carlos’ life.
Carlos is survived by his parents Pete and Molly, daughter Erika, brothers Peter Genaro and Christopher. He had six nieces and nephews: Isabelle, Elena, Vincent, Lewis, Daniel, and Julian.
Carlos was born in Phoenix, AZ on November 4, 1965 and raised in Maryvale. He is the oldest of three sons born to Pete and Molly Alejandro. Carlos was a proud veteran and served in the Navy on the USS Mount Whitney as a Cryptologist. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at Arizona State University and his Masters in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. He loved his career in Education working at Sheely Farm Elementary School where he was a full time building sub and served as the Athletic Director.
Carlos was the life of the party! He warmed up any room he walked into with his beautiful warm smile, booming voice, and was always ready to grab a beer and shoot the breeze with his compadres. He had a huge heart and loved all his family and friends 150%. Carlos loved road trips and adventure, his favorites were camping up in the White Mountains with Kimberly and the entire Romero family and cruising with the windows down along the California Coast while classic rock bumped from his truck speakers. His daughter shares his love of travel and Carlos was so very proud of her and would love to tell everyone stories of Erika’s latest adventure. As per Carlos’ final wishes he expressed he wanted to be cremated and taken to his favorite beach in California.
The Alejandro family wishes to acknowledge, with deep appreciation, the many expressions of love, concern, support and kindness shown to them during this difficult time.
