He is preceded in death by his mother Luz G. Laborin and his brother Edward Laborin. Carlos is survived by his wife Yolanda, his daughter Tina Hector (Dale), his grandchildren Ashley and Josh, his brother Raymond Laborin (Lupe), his sisters Rebecca Nunez (Andrew) and Lucy Cano, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Carlos went to Cortez High School and studied at Phoenix College. He was a long time member of the Phoenix Jaycees where he enjoyed playing Santa Claus. Carlos retired from the City of Phoenix after 32 years of dedicated service.
He enjoyed life and enjoyed playing bingo and poker with his buddies. Carlos was always ready to give you a hug and call you by your nickname, and we all had one! He had a great sense of humor and a huge heart.
