Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, he carried the warmth of his roots with him throughout a life defined by service to others and a deep appreciation for the world’s simple pleasures. He was a man who understood the value of a day’s work and the quiet dignity of providing for his family. Yet, despite his busy hands, his spirit remained gentle. He was the first to offer help to anyone in need at any time, a true friend who never asked for anything in return.
In his later years, he found true contentment in life’s quieter rhythms. An avid reader with a deep passion for history, he was often found lost in the pages of the past. He cherished the comfort of home. Finding peace and relaxation in the house he worked so hard for. He never turned down a good meal, especially when paired with a fine tequila or a cold, crisp beer. His recent travels allowed him to see more of the world he had spent so much time reading about. His greatest pride, however, was his family.
He is survived by his wife, Hortencia; his three children and their spouses, Gaby and Ron, Carlos and Natalie, and Jorge and Daniela; and his cherished grandson, Adrian, who brought him immense joy.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, a reminder to work hard, and the memory of a smile that never faded. He will be deeply missed, but his story continues through the lives of those he loved.
