Carol A. Anderson

Carol is survived by her children Susan Anderson, Cathie Carpenter, and Jon (Karen) Anderson as well as seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years August Anderson, and their son Michael Anderson.

Carol’s favorite thing was spending time with people she loved. She was an amazing cook and loved being in her kitchen preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. She had a great love for listening to music. Carol also enjoyed sewing and she would make outfits and dolls for her grandchildren and also for charity. She loved gardening and growing her own vegetables and roses, and also had big flower beds with beautiful flowers for every season. In addition to her family, faith was Carol’s most precious possession, a devout follower of Christ and a member of Saints Simon and Jude Cathedral in Phoenix where she served the Lord and many in her community through Catholic Charities.

A visitation for Carol will be held Monday, August 15, 2022, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, followed by a funeral service from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
