Carol Ellen Blair, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, seamstress, and woman of strong faith, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, following an illness with pneumonia. She was 79 years old.
Carol was born on September 4, 1946, in Naperville, Illinois, to Howard and Roberta Miller. After marrying the love of her life, George Edward Blair Sr., she moved to Arizona, where they built their life and raised their family together. George preceded her in death on August 8, 2021.
Carol was the devoted mother of Duriye Lee Kopperud and George Edward Blair Jr. (Lilly Blair). She was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren: Jason Luckett, Jenna Carter (Mark Carter), Amber Luckett, Kayli Kopperud, Jonny Kopperud, Kierra Kopperud, Jacob Blair, Isaiah Blair, Rosalie Blair, and Titus Blair. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Lincoln Carter, Liam Carter, Averie Gilson, and Halli Trombley.
A talented seamstress by trade, Carol found great joy in sewing and crafts. She spent much of her life creating beautiful things with her hands and especially loved sewing for her family and friends. Her work was one of the many ways she showed her love and care for those around her.
Carol will be remembered as a kind and loving woman whose faith in Jesus Christ was an important part of her life. She carried a strong belief in God and shared that faith with her family, leaving a lasting spiritual legacy that will continue through her children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, her faith, and the love she gave to the people around her. Though she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her, her memory will live on in the many lives she touched and in the family she leaves behind.
Carol is now reunited with her beloved husband, George, and rests in the presence of the Lord she faithfully loved.
She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
