Carol Gail McCall, 82, of Goodyear, Arizona, died August 18, 2024 after facing the challenges of breast cancer.
She was born in Hemet, California in 1942 to William and Elizabeth McGrew. Carol studied elementary education at Arizona State College (now Northern Arizona University) in Flagstaff, Arizona, before starting a rewarding career as a public school teacher. Carol taught fifth grade, sixth grade, and science for the academically gifted at schools in Bisbee and Phoenix, Arizona.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and sister Marge Mackie of Oregon and Marge's husband William Mackie. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Robert McCall, her sons Michael (Tammy) and Mark (Tracy) and her three grandchildren, Christopher, Eliza, and Auden.
A graveside service will be held for Carol on Thursday August 29, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Activity room at Estrella Estates,14930 W Wigwam Blvd
