She was born on May 17, 1940 in Staten Island, New York, the eldest of three children born to the late Harold and Marian Larson.
Carol married William Neyman on June 1, 1963 and together they had two children. William passed away in 1990.
She was a teacher, wife, mother, friend, and an amazing "Magga" (grandmother). She loved art and drawing and would often send personalized notes to friends and family. She was so very passionate in her career of educating our youth. Upon her retirement, she began dancing and was quite a whirlwind in the Ballroom, even travelling out of the country for competitions. This often included wild activities such as parasailing!
Carol is survived by her daughter Stephanie (Lonny Peoples) and grandson Jacob Schmidt
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey, brother Harold Larson & sister Marian Larson.
A service celebrating Carol’s life will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 1PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. She will be laid to rest with William at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
