Cecile "Dolly" Wilhardt

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Cecile "Dolly" Wilhardt, who left us on the 29th of November, 2023, at the graceful age of 90. Dolly, a beacon of love and warmth, was a cherished figure in our lives, always providing comfort and support whenever we needed it most.

Born into a bustling household on a farm in Kenyon, Minnesota, Dolly was one of nine siblings.

Dolly's life was a tapestry of love and dedication. She was the heart of our family and built a legacy of love and family values that continue to live on through her children and grandchildren

She was a devoted mother to her four daughters, Linda, Loretta, Leanne and Lynnette. Each of them embodies a part of her spirit, strength and compassion. Dolly was a loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren, Kyle, Kelly, Josh, Jesse, Ashley, Caitlin, Carson and Cierra.

Dolly's interests were as diverse as her love was boundless. She found pleasure in playing games, an activity that brought her closer to her family and friends. She also enjoyed golfing, corn hole, ping-pong, and travelling with family. She had traveled to England, Russia and the Mediterranean in her 70’s and 80’s. She had endless energy and curiosity.

As we bid farewell to Dolly, we celebrate her life, a journey marked by kindness, resilience and an unwavering commitment to her family. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation to Hospice of the Valley, hov.org, a cause close to Dolly's heart and of enormous love and support to her and her daughters. Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew her.

Rest in peace, dear Dolly. You may have left this world, but you will never leave our hearts.

Memorial Service to be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Avenue, Glendale, AZ on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 3pm.
