She was born in Tucson, AZ on September 21, 1936 to Conrad and Sara Flores. “CeCe” worked many years as a waitress at various valley restaurants and in her later years she was a caregiver to special needs patients.
CeCe had a charismatic, outgoing personality. She was the life of the party and always made everyone feel welcomed and special. That was her gift. She loved cooking. She always had a pot on the stove and food in the oven and she made sure everyone was well fed. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. Nana will be missed but never forgotten. She was a woman of faith, a believer in the Lord. She prepared herself and her family for her final journey.
Cecilia is survived by Frank, her husband of 61 years, her sister Gilda, her children Debra, Nick Susan, Michael, David (Marcella) and Jacque (Rick). She leaves 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Conrad, baby sister Rachel, son Christopher and granddaughter Rebecca.
“Her life was one of immeasurable service; service to family, friends, and strangers alike, and therefore service to God. She will be greatly missed for the many lives she’s touched.”
