Celia Ann Yamasaki was a radiant light in the lives of everyone who knew and loved her. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend whose beautiful heart, infectious laughter, confidence, and vibrant personality made her truly unforgettable. She was loving, radiant, resilient, charismatic, and courageous, with an extraordinary ability to make others laugh and a heart that always had more love to give.
From childhood, Celia was outgoing, curious, playful, and fearless. She never hesitated to speak her mind, ask questions, or embrace new experiences. As a teenager, she pursued pageantry and modeling, winning Miss Cover Girl in 2010 and appearing on the cover of Quinceañeras magazine that same year. Her confidence, charisma, and natural beauty allowed her personality to shine both on and off the stage.
Celia was passionate about learning, beauty, health, and wellness. She became a certified esthetician in 2016 and earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2019. She worked as a Recruitment Specialist with Affordable Care and pursued her entrepreneurial dreams by establishing her own business, Yamasaki Beauty. She was always eager to grow, explore her passions, and turn her ideas into something meaningful.
Above all, Celia treasured her family, friendships, and the simple joys of everyday life. She loved spending time with her mother, Ana Luisa, her sister, Noemi, and her beloved pups, Lili and Daisy. She enjoyed working out, eating healthy, practicing self-care, exploring beauty, listening to all genres of music, and sharing meals of her favorite Asian and Mexican foods. She was often the life of the party, bringing laughter, warmth, and an unforgettable energy wherever she went.
Behind her confident and lively spirit was a tender heart filled with dreams, including her deep desire to become a mother. After experiencing the heartbreak of a few miscarriages, Celia continued to carry a profound love for children and even offered to carry a child for her sister. Her nurturing nature and willingness to give of herself reflected the depth of her compassion and the love she held for those closest to her.
In her later years, Celia's Christian faith became an increasingly important part of her life. Through life's challenges, she grew closer to Christ, dedicated herself to studying His Word, attended church, and participated in Bible studies with her friend Erica. In 2016 she was Baptized in the Church of Christ located in Maryvale by Preacher Abraham Villegas. She sought to reflect God's love through kindness, gratitude, and compassion, trusting in His will even during uncertain seasons. Her faith became a source of hope and strength as she continued to navigate life with resilience and a grateful heart.
Celia was preceded in death by her father, Ricardo Yamasaki, and her brother, Ricardo Yamasaki. She leaves behind her beloved mother, Ana Luisa; her sister, Noemi; her extended family; and all those whose lives were touched by her love and unforgettable spirit. Her family will miss her dearly, holding close the memories of her laughter, her courage, her passions, and the countless ways she made life brighter.
Celia's life reminds us that true beauty extends far beyond appearances. It lives in the love we give, the challenges we face with courage, the laughter we share, and the faith that sustains us. She was a woman who loved deeply, dreamed boldly, and never shied away from a challenge.
As her loved ones mourn her passing, may they find comfort in their memories and in the promises of God. Celia's time on earth may have been far too short, but the love she gave and the memories she created will endure in the hearts of those who knew her.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10
