Cesar grew up in Mandaue, Philippines, and at the age of 26, he moved to the United States to be with his wife, Marlene Bontilao. He worked at Wells Fargo for 20 years as a fraud analyst.
Cesar was married to Marlene Bontilao, and together they had a son, Joshua. Known as the "fun parent," Cesar loved spending time with Joshua. They shared a passion for golfing, although Joshua once tried to introduce Cesar to disc golf, Cesar remained true to his love for traditional golf. He was a devoted husband and took pride in being a good provider for his family. His sense of humor was infectious, always ready with a joke. After living in California, the family moved to Arizona for a fresh start.
Cesar had a love for traveling, whether it was a short drive, a long drive, or even a cruise, he enjoyed seeing the world. He also had a deep appreciation for Filipino native songs and loved music.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 9, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, located at 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301.
Cesar's life was filled with laughter, love, and adventure, and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
