Charlcey M. Brabec

On Monday, December 27, 2021, Charlcey Brabec, loving mother, sister and beloved friend, passed to eternal life at age 81. Charlcey was born on March 27, 1940, in Rosco, Texas. She graduated from North Texas College in 1961 and later received her Master’s Degree from ASU. Charlcey had a passion for reading and for teaching others to read and write as adjunct faculty for Rio Salado Community College. She was also an avid bridge player, loved to travel, and enjoyed the opera. Charlcey was very involved with her church and with the P.E.O. She was a remarkable and kind person who cared greatly for her family and community.

Charlcey was preceded in death by her first husband Jerry Whitlock and her second husband Dan Brabec.

She is survived by her two children Alyson and Jason, her step-children Laura, Michael and David, her sister Donna, several grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale on Friday, December 31st at 11am. Memorial gifts may be sent to Arizona Care Hospice Foundation, 12035 N. Saguaro Blvd., Suite 101, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268.

Family and Friends are encouraged to leave memories and tributes that will print in a family memorial book that will be printed at a later date.
