She was born in Phoenix on November 25, 1949 to the late Charles Woodland and Norma Hill.
Charlene was a graduate of Carl Hayden High School and retired as a customer service representative at Qwest Communications as well as Discover Card.
For the last 7 years, she was a was a full time grandmother who stayed home to take care of her 2 granddaughters. Charlene enjoyed watching and going to see the Arizona Diamondbacks play baseball and spending as much time as she could with her family.
She is survived by her husband David, daughter Kari Cromer, three step-children Billy Johnson, Todd Johnson & Gina Johnson, three sisters Eileen Woodland, Martha Schrock & Mary Williamson, two granddaughters Kaley & Siena Cromer and her step-father Bill Hill.
