Barb, Wendy and Kevin,   I am so sorry for your loss.  A dear friend of mine who lost a sister described it like this:  One's life is a beautiful tapestry.  The loss of a loved one is a big hole.  It's not that the tapestry of life doesn't continue to have meaning and be beautiful, but that hole will always be there.  I imagine that must be true for each of you, too.  I hope that time helps ease the pain of how much you miss your husband and dad though I know it will never go away.   You remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey Charles, I hope you are now finally happy, and looking down on us with a big silly grin!  We will all miss the wonderful words you shared with us each day. I will miss all the jokes we had together. You were a brilliant and funny guy! Be at peace, and know that you brighten all of our lives.

Barbara, Kevin, and Wendy:  I'm so sorry for your loss.  It was great to see all the pictures!  Words are so inadequate at a time like this, but please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry for your loss but I know you are a close family and with each other you will find strength and peace. My  thoughts and prayers are with  your family.

Charlie, you're probably already laughing at the fact that I need your help again with my dang computer. I want you to know, ol friend, how much you will not only be missed by friends and family, but how much your students will miss you. You were always there for them and us, me, Charlie. Those last days at the North campus are forever etched in my memory, my friend. Always remember that you were always the north campus' entrant for teacher of the year and for me are always 'teacher of the North Campus' where the soul of Collins College was and forever will be. One day I hope to be riding in the desert and see a star rising and I'll know its you, Charlie. Thanks for always having been there for the students and for the North Campus.

Having being there just a year ago, no words can express what you are feeling, family and friends will get you through the pain and remind you of all the wonderful times you had.  My thoughts and prays are with you and your family.
