Charles E. Manning (79) entered into Heaven peacefully with his daughter, Kimberlee Borey, at his side on January 13, 2018. Charles was born in New York on July 15, 1938. Charles known to his family as "Chuck" graduated from Troy high school and decided to join the Air Force. While serving in the Air Force, Chuck was awarded the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, he received the 1100 Air Base Wing, and the Air Force Longevity Service Award.
Chucks greatest love was his family, especially his daughter Kimberlee. His true passion was his career. Chuck worked for many years with The City of Hollywood, Florida as a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI), which he was very proud of and loved to talk about and tell stories.
Chuck leaves behind his only daughter Kimberlee Borey and her husband Bobby Borey; sisters Patricia Sheldrick and Debra Ackart; grandchildren Kayla Crosslin, Keifer Borey, and Keirstyn Lake; niece's Jodi Sheldrick and Tara Clark; nephew Chris Sheldrick; and several great nephews, nieces, and great grandchildren Marley Rae, Karisma Truth, Markis Jr., Konnelly Reign Crosslin.
Chuck was the beloved son of the late Mildred Ackart and step son of the late Keith Ackart. He was also preceded in Heaven by his brothers Joseph and William Manning.
Service for Chuck will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary at 7924 N. 59th Ave. on Monday, January 29th at 1030am followed by an interment service at The National Memorial Cemetery Arizona 23029 Cave Creek Rd. in Phoenix at 1230pm, escorted and officiated by the Patriot Guard Riders of Arizona.
