What a dear friend. What a great co-worker. Very wise indeed. I had the utmost respect for Chuck. Most military men are very disciplined for life and that he was. I've never seen a person so disciplined to his diet as he was. Nothing temped him to eat any kind of sugar. That brain of his was there to pick. He gave his 2 cents but it was up to you to take it or leave it. Nothing but pleasant memories of this gentleman. What an amazing connected group we were. Charles Manning, RIP!

Kim,
Sending thoughts and prayers from my family in NC to yours as we all grieve the loss of a wonderful and special man. He touched the lives of so many and he so loved you, the kids, and all his family.

My memories of Chuck are numerous as my heart breaks realizing an end to our long and loving talks. I can smile remembering the fun times especially playing cards tournament style and planning our activities via his famous lists.

Chuck will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him. My love for him was constant whether together or at a distance. My daughter and grandchildren send their love and sympathies. They loved him too.

He Cared!

With love, Carole

My poppa will always hold a special place in my heart. Even though he is in Heaven and in no more pain we will forever love and miss him. It hurts me even more that I was not able to say goodbye. I know he is watching over me and my family and I can always look up and see his star shining bright. Poppa, I love you more than you ever got to know. May you rest in Peace in Paradise.

Sympathies to my niece and her family. Chuck was a wonderful and in accomplished brother. And I will miss him very much. I have such wonderful memories of all of you. From the time we spend Christmas together, when he played Santa Claus, to the time he helped us find a tree in the woods. I'll be thinking of him often. God bless you all
