Charles Ray Rush, 69, it is with great sadness that Charles is walking on to be with the Great Spirit.

Charles was a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Tribe and he was preceded in death by his two sons Lance and Brandon Rush also his parents Connie and Ruby Rush, six sisters and two brothers.

Charles is survived by his wife Brenda, his sister Barbara Sue Merrell and John Merrell Jr. & Brad McFarlin, who were like sons to him; their families, grandchildren, great granddaughter and many other nieces and nephews.

Charles married Brenda Coates on June 30, 1967. He and Brenda owned and operated several businesses including Allied American Waste Systems, Coyote Pass Enterprises and Feather Creek Investments.

He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Charles’ celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 7PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
