Mrs.ChauTruong, 92yearsofage, passed away on Monday, January30th, 2017 at her home in Glendale, Arizona.

Her funeral service will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301, Tel. (623)939-8394 this Friday, February 3rd from 2:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday, February 4th from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

She was born October19th, 1924 in a small town in the Sadec province, in Southern Vietnam to the late Xuyen Truong and Hue Nguyen and was the oldest sister in a family of 10 children.

Chau married to the late Tap Toin 1945 in Vietnam and nine children were born from this union. She migrated to the USA in 1991 to join her 3 sons in San Diego, and then moved to Glendale, Arizona in 1993 where she lived close by her 2 sons and one daughter until she passed away.

She was a faithful follower of the Buddhist teachings, a loving and caring person, devoted wife and mother. Her children paid this tribute to her: “Growing up, we endured some hard times, but through our mom’s example of endurance, loving and caring deeply for the family, we learned to keep going even in the hardest times of our lives in Vietnam and in the USA.”

She is survived by her 5 sons, Trung, Truc, Tri, Tran and Trong, and 2 daughters, Trinh and Truyen, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 younger sisters in Vietnam.
