Christopher Jon Getz passed away on June 21, 2021 at the age of 48. Chris was born on January 14, 1973 in Smithville, Missouri to parents George and Junetta Getz. Soon after his parents made the move to Arizona and in 1978 his father George preceded him in death. Chris is survived by his mother Junetta Ervin and step-father Floyd Ervin, his siblings Laura Cosby, Gerald Getz, Cheryl McDonald, Floyd Ervin II, Melissa Savage, Becky Ervin, Steve Ervin, and Justin Ervin, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 8 AM followed by funeral service at 9 AM both held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ. Chris will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
