Clara I. Gaylord

Clara I. Gaylord (82) left this world peacefully surrounded by family on January 31, 2017. Born in Taos, New Mexico on April 30, 1934. She met her soulmate in the Air Force and traveled the world. They retired from Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, where they finished raising their children and setup home base. She held a few civil and government positions, but retired from NASA and moved to Sun City for her final days. Preceded in death by her loving husband John G. Gaylord and her loving son John M. Gaylord, her brother Francis Quintana and many loving relatives. She leaves behind a great legacy: (John’s wife, Karen), son Mark Gaylord (Joy), son Mike Gaylord (Pam) and daughter Teresa Moore (Jerry), 15 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and she was able to meet her first Great Great Grandchild. She also leaves behind her loving brother Dennis Quintana (Alice) and sister Adriana Adams (Bob), Eleanor Quintana and brother-in- law Joe Olien. She has many many loving nieces and nephews and greats. May you rest in peace with the lord our Savior. Always in our hearts. Love you MOM.
