Claudine Patricia Balland

On Friday October 19th our Mother, Claudine Patricia Balland lost her long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Mom was born in Herford Tx. May 6, 1929, she was 83 years old. She was married to our Father July 3, 1950. They were married 62 years. Together they raised a family of 10 children. Claudine resided in her early life in Hereford, TX. Colorado Springs, CO. Springer and Manero, New Mexico. After their marriage they resided in Anchorage, AK for 15 years. In November 1966 the family moved to Phoenix, AZ where she was a dedicated member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church. In her lifetime she had worked for a short period as a nurse but the majority of her life was dedicated to being a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her loving husband Peter Joseph Balland, her children and their spouses, David Thomas Balland of Homer AK. Peter Joseph Jr. (Laurie) Balland of Prescott, AZ. AZ, John Daniel (Michele) Balland of Temecula Ca, Jean-Paul (Deanne) Balland of Buckeye AZ. Patricia Claudine (Richard) Stoffan of Colorado Springs, CO. and Geoffery Alan Balland of Phx. AZ. There will be a public visitation at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary 7924 N. 59th Ave. Glendale AZ (623)937-9297 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Tuesday October 23 followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday October 24th at ST. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church 3140 N. 51st Ave. Phx. AZ. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Reception to follow.
