Growing up my dad worked so hard all the time, but he still found time for us kids. He would coach and help our sports teams, play cards with us and always loved taking us to Dairy Queen. On special occasions he would take me to Mary Coyle’s for ice cream, we loved our ice cream! After I grew up my dad helped me with life, always giving his time to just sit and listen, and make me laugh when I needed cheered up. He always told me he loved me and he would thank me for just coming over to visit especially when I brought baked items just for him! It was me who was the lucky one to have the time with him that I had. I love you dad and will miss you forever, until we see each other again ❤️❤️❤️

We met Curtis and Barbara over 30 years ago during our experience of the Bird business and clubs we were involved in. Curtis always had a wonderful smile and friendly spirit. We always thought a lot of the two of you. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Fishing is one of my favorite things to do. Papa Papa this is something we have in common. I loved hearing about your fishing trips with grandma and the kids or just you and the guys. I can’t wait to take my next trip up north, to your secret spot and look under the rocks for your secret bait! Then when I start catching all of the fish and people ask what I’m using, I’ll give them the old saying “ just anything in the tackle box!” Like you heard from the old men who told you the same thing.

Love you!

My dad always had something to say that could make you laugh, we always had fun and at Easter he called early each Sunday as the Eater bunny. At Christmas he would call as Santa Claus you always new that the first early morning call would be him. He never missed calling for our birthday, he was always there for us when we needed him in both good times and bad. We love you very much and will miss you more than you will ever know.
