In 1946, his family moved to Mesa, Arizona, where Dale developed a lifelong passion for agriculture. He was active in Future Farmers of America (FFA), later earning a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Arizona. Dale spent over 60 years in the agriculture business and was well known for his store “Dale's Town & Country” and "West Side Fertilizer".
He is survived by his wife, Janilyn Deal; daughters, Dana Deal and Gayla Deal; stepdaughters, Brandi Coulthard and Stacey Coulthard; siblings, Gail Deal, Carl Deal, and Lee Banning; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Glendale Women's Club, 7032 N 56th Ave, Glendale, AZ 8530, on March 29, 2026, from 1 to 5 pm.
