Dale received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Eastern Washington State College, and earned a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Arizona State University. Dale was a beloved and respected music teacher for the Osborn School District for over 17 years and inspired thousands of students to peruse their creative endeavors. During the summer, Dale and 'The Oz' took his students to Camp Pacific. He was an active member of the Arizona Music Educators Association, as well as the 108th Army Band, and the Glendale Summer Band. After retiring from teaching, Dale founded Plumb Perfect Instrument Repair to keep music in the lives of kids and adults alike.
Dale served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Bennington and later joined the Arizona Army National Guard. He was deeply involved in his community and a long-time Y Service Club volunteer. While Dale was passionate about music, he also had interests in golf, travel, playing darts, and bowling. He attended his first Los Angeles Rams football game at the Colosseum in 1948, he's been an avid LA Rams fan ever since.
