Daniel Villegas

Daniel Tino Villegas, age 70, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Daniel was born July 5, 1951 and was a lifelong native of Phoenix, Arizona. It was at St. Joseph's Hospital that he entered his eternal rest after his long struggles and complications with heart failure.

Daniel was an accomplished accordionist in his younger years. He attended West High School and graduated from Phoenix College. He enjoyed bowling and watching football. He loved muscle cars- especially his green and black Mach 1. In his later years he began collecting model planes and jets. Daniel spent many years in the aerospace industry working for AiResearch, Garret, Develco and BAE while continuing his studies at ASU.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, JoAnna and his four step children: Johnny, Jennifer, Julie and Jacob. He is also survived by his sons Marcus (Lacey) Villegas, Dominic (Jamie) Villegas and two grandchildren, as well as his sister Berta (Rick) Clarke and brother Thomas (Mary) Villegas.

he is predeceased by his parents, Florentino and Josephine Villegas, his brother David and his son Abedon Villegas.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 12:00 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, (6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301), followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
