Darrel L. Chapman “Chappy” age 77, born January 19th 1934 in Phoenix to Harold and Myrtle Chapman, passed away Wednesday February 16th 2011 due to complications of Alzheimer’s. Darrel graduated from North Phoenix High School in 1951. After graduation he served in Korea with the US Army. In 1957 he joined the Phoenix Fire Department and retired in 1987 as Captain. He was a High Priest in the LDS church. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jayne Chapman, his brother Glenn Chapman(Nancy), daughters Lisa Mander(Bob), Loni Loewe(Sven) and 6 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday, February 21st at the LDS church at 22034 N 83rd Ave, Peoria AZ. Visitation will held at 9:00 am, Services at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at West Resthaven Cemetery, 6290 W Northern Avenue Glendale AZ
