My condolences to all who know and loved this man. I grew up across the street from the Husky family but hadn't connected with them for many years.  Daryl and I had just started chatting again on classmates.  I deeply regret not having the opportunity to get to know him again. My Mom, Dad, and sisters remember the family with fondness. My Dad commented that the Huskey boys were the nicest in the neighborhood. Our hearts go out to his family from the entire Calhoun Clan.

Sorry to hear that Daryl has passed away. I too met Daryl through Arrowhead back in 1987. We would see each other on occasion throughout the years and visiting with Daryl always brought a smile to my face. In recent years our encounters were more frequent and he certainly was young at heart.

I am sad to see that Daryl has passed.  I don't know if Daryl's mom will remember me but I lived in the neighborhood on Marshall and my name is Betty Berry, now Betty Sargent.  Daryl was one of the Simpson clan.  He hung out at the Boy's Club, played sports, rode his bike.  He was a fun kid, great friend.  It was the best possible neighborhood to grow up in....we were all so lucky to have the same group of kids from first grade almost thru high school.  I saw the elementary school pictures and just remember that wonderful smile, when he lost his teeth (we all had those pictures).  We would hang out under the street lights with the Jody and Laura Messina, Tracy Ewert, Stafford....it was awesome.  I am so happy to have known Daryl.  My prayers are with his family and hope they wlll help you thru this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to Daryl's family.  I know Daryl as one of the neighbors down the street from my parents.  Anytime he was outside & we (my son Dylan & I) were passing by, we always waved to eachother or if given the opportunity we would chat. He was always a friendly face :)  I also work at the Celebrity Theatre and he started working in Guest Services in the spring.  It was nice seeing  him there & I know he was enjoying himself being surrounded by people & music.  He really needed that!   I will miss talking with him as well as everyone else whose hearts he touched.  RIP Daryl.....make some music in the sky! :))))

My name is Danny Loftin, I am his brother Troy's step son. I hadn't seen Daryl in a while, but man, I always remember his huge smile and laughing voice. He always left me laughing, and I imagine he made everyone else feel the same. Wonderful man. We miss you Daryl, you will forever exist in our hearts.

Both you and I were extensions of the Bonds family growing up. I remember how you would tease me and make me laugh. May God give your family and friends strength at this time.

Although Daryl only worked at Celebrity Theatre since April, it seems as though he had been there a lot longer, he fit in so well. He was a good guy, a hard worker, a true asset. I have not seen Daryl since High School but I do remember him and all the guys riding their so called "cool" bicycles all around the neighborhood.  He was a nice guy then and I am sure he continued to be a good man. My sympathy goes out to his family.

Daryl was a man with a way to bring happiness to people around him. He always made me feel welcome in his home. He never lost his sense of adventure and joy. Thanks Daryl , you made my life richer by knowing you.

Dear Family, Today we learned our Loving, Dear Friend for many years left to enter into eternal life, Our hearts our heavy with Grief. We met Daryl in 1981 when we worked at Arrowhead Water. We had so many great times Laughing, Spilunking, Shooting and exploring our beautiful state and we spent countless hours jamming to some great bands some of our favorite Bands of the time were White Snake, Tesla, Journey. You name it we cranked up the music and Rocked! Although the last 15 years we lost Physical Touch with Daryl He lives in our hearts forever, We have never found a friend more special than he was. Daryl made us laugh and Always was Loving and Kind. We remember the day when Carl was a baby and started Crawling and Daryl was so Proud and turned to us and said  "Hes crawling but he can't get his Tank off the ground" because of his baby fat belly. We laughed and joked about that one for years. We are so sorry for your loss. Daryl was and will always be a great man. We Love him and Miss him Dearly. Our Prayers are with you. I just reconnected with Daryl about three weeks ago after 28 years.  It is hard to believe that all those years went by and we were both doing well and than in an instant it changed.  My heartfelt sympathies are extended to his family.

I recently met Daryl working together at Celebrity Theatre and was just starting to get to know him a bit better.  He was a great addition to the staff and he will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends; you are in my prayers.
