David William Covington was taken far too early from this world on April 26, 2017 at the age of 45 years.
All who knew David regarded him to be a loving husband and an amazing father. He was loved dearly by friends and family. David met his wife, Sara, when they were just young teenagers, ages 13 and 15. Twenty-seven years after their first meeting, David and Sara reunited, their romance blossomed, and the pair were married in Scottsdale, Arizona.
David was a skilled cabinet-maker, carpenter, and mechanic by trade but devoted his life to his family to become a stay-at-home father after his son Avery William was born in 2014. David leaves behind wife Sara, son Avery, brother Joe, sister Christina, nephews Colin, Lawrence, Desmond, Jonathan, Daniel, Jacob, and Michael, and nieces Emmylou, Elizabeth, Katie, and Rebecca. David was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie, and father, Percy.
A joyful celebration of David's life will be held at 6:00pm Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the home of Judy Rhodes, 4049 East Desert Cove Drive, Phoenix, Arizona, 85028.
