He was born in Irwin, Pennsylvania on July 18, 1935 to the late Avald and Margaret Bergman. He had three brothers Bob, Jack & Bruce.
Dean met his wife Beverly Paden in grade school and dated all thru high school. They married on February 16, 1955 and shared almost 67 years of marriage.
Dean served with the United States Air Force for over 20 years retiring as a Technical Sergeant in 1975. He was a custodian at The First United Methodist Church in Irwin, Pennsylvania for over 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Beverly, three daughters Bonita (John) Kane, Wanda Bergman & Melinda Bergman.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 2-4PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Burial with military honors will take place on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 9AM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix.
