Born on September 8, 1959 in Phoenix AZ, to the parents of, Robert and Rosemarie Vogel.

Debra lived with remarkable strength, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Alongside her husband of more than 30 years, she took great pride in raising their four daughters. Her family was at the center of her life, and the bond she created will endure as her lasting legacy.

While caring for her family was always at the heart of her life, Debra also took pride in her time working as a Correctional Officer, where she earned the respect and affection of those around her.

She treasured time with her family, peaceful mornings spent drinking coffee to the sound of birds, and playing with her dogs, Bella, Mila, Toby, and Luna. She enjoyed trips up north, as well as visits to California and Laughlin. Creative and attentive to detail, Debra brought care and thoughtfulness to everything she did.

Debra left a lasting impression on those around her. She had a special way of making people feel heard, valued, and cared for. Her quick wit could brighten a moment, while her guidance and strength offered comfort when it was needed most. She was an anchor, a protector, and a best friend.

Debra is survived by her loving and supportive husband, Willie Martinez; her daughters, Erika (Derek), Brittney, Angela, and Sabrina; her grandchildren, Johnny, Jenna (Rudy), Anthony, and Jessiena; and her three great-grandsons.
