Lo extraño dad. Miss you always.  I just miss you especially around these times around. I miss the holidays at the house with you both. 

There is only one Hero in my life and that is you dad. You were and will be my inspiration and hero always. Not one celebrity or athlete on this earth compares to my dad.  Dad never lets us down and was always there. I love you dad and miss you everyday. I still hear your voice and see your smile. It keeps me going through this life everyday. I'll see you again in Heaven dad. Love you! 

I wrote this for you and Ama when we celebrated Ama's birthday last month. I miss you both dearly, so so much! I appreciate you both. I'm proud to say you both raised me and helped me be the person I am today.


Death changes everything, time changes nothing. I still miss the sound of your voice, the wisdom in your advice, the stories of your life, and just being in your presence. So no, time changes nothing. I miss you as much today as I did when you passed. Three things you cannot recover in life, the word after its said, the moment after its missed, and time after its gone. I guess I just really took for granted the fact that you were just a phone call away. I try my best to remember you. Im afraid to forget you. I open up my laptop and watch videos of us back then. My biggest fear is that through time I'll forget you, and you'll simply become a mere memory floating through space. I'd hate that. I close my eyes and try to picture your face, my mind goes blurry sometimes and I get mad because through time I know you'll fade away. I won't remember the moles on your face, the scar from the stitches on your forehead. The way you smelled, and worst of all the sound of your voice. All I hold on to are memories and your picture in a frame. I took a thousand moments for granted, mainly because I thought there'd be a thousand more. I close my eyes, and the best vision comes to my head, the one I remember you by. I wake up on a Saturday morning because I hear the phone ringing, it's Tio Pete. I call out "Ama" but you're not there. I open the door and I see you both sitting there under the palm tree. Ama is there reading her Bible with her glasses on, her Bible on her lap. I also see you next to her sitting on that lawn chair with a bucket on the ground in between your legs peeling nopales. I open my eyes into reality to find myself with the truth that you're gone. I'm left here missing you both.  I love you, but I miss you more! Te amo Apa y Ama gracias por todo el amor y cariño que siempre me dieron.

To my friend Paul & the family, I pray that God gives you strength. 1 of my memories of Domingo is when paul would tell him something he would tell paul tu no sabes nada. He's now rejoicing in Heaven, we'll see him again one day!

Apa, Since my mom passed away I would go every Saturday & help olga take care of u...In the year in a half that u wer there, Out of dat time I missed about 5 times not going, I wanted 2 spend as time with you. .. Now my Saturdays where will I go.. l miss u, & mom , But I have to understand it was ur  your time to go. making  my heart understand is the problem..Thank you again, for telling  showing  talking seeing me through my problems back then when I was young.. I will never forget the advice that you gave me that day when we were taking a drive..  I will never forget you or mom, so for now Rest in peace my beloved father..I love u both..  Your  gorda,,

Dad, there isn't enough room on this space to express my thanks to God what you and mom meant to me. I want to thank Almighty God for the last few days I got to spend with you and to praise Him for blessing us. You taught us many of your good traits and it shows throughout the family.  I know my twin shared Christ with you and it was also awesome to be able to share the Gospel with you. You put up a tough fight in the last days and suffered. You are at rest now and will be missed. Don mingo, such a great father...He and dona Josephine were my two adoptive parents when I was in AZ.   I feel like a part of my life has gone.  But knowing Don mingo I'm sure he is in heaven rightnow.  Loved the memories of hH's jokes very jentle man, honest, and very loving....I will miss him....
