

Donald Eugene Courson – 80, of Golden Valley, Arizona passed away Saturday August 3, 2013 North Las Vegas, Nevada at his Son- in-Law Timothy L Eaton and his youngest daughter Paulette M Eaton (Courson) home, as she sat by his side.
He was born October 7th, 1932 in Abingdon, Illinois (his eldest daughter Carolyn was born on his birthday in (1955). The son of Victor and Irene Courson, who preceded him in death. He has 4 Daughters, Surviving are Carolyn, Becky, Paulette and preceding him in death…Little Angel Christine. He was also preceded in death by his sister Betty. Surviving are sisters Marjorie, Nancy and Shirley, brothers are David and Danny, grandchildren Jason and Jessica and great grandchildren Nathan, Christian, and the little one growing in his granddaughter Jessica.
Donald graduated Class of 1950; he was a Marine and served in the Korean War. He retired from the City of Phoenix as the shop foreman. He spent the remainder of his time as he would say “keeping the lights on in Laughlin NV”!!! He was an avid gambler.

A time of viewing will be held on Sunday, Aug 25 from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, Glendale AZ.
