Donna S. Sell
November 20, 1933 – May 7, 2018
Donna Jean Scott Sell was born on Nov 20, 1933 in Rock Falls, IL, daughter of Charles and Mary Scott. After a long illness, Donna passed away on Monday May 7, 2018 in Glendale AZ.
As a young girl, Donna grew up in Rock Falls but moved in 1949 with her mother and stepfather, Tommy Leonard, to Oklahoma. In 1951, Donna graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City. She married Burt Corban in 1954 and the couple had three children, Paula Jean Corban Richards, Gregory Charles Corban, and Becky Corban Neff. In 1963, Donna moved with her children to Phoenix where she worked as office manager for INA Insurance Company. She met and later married Don Sell. They shared a loving relationship for 12 years.
Donna lived a long and productive life, traveling and spending time with the people she loved the most, her three children, her 9 grandchildren, her 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Bingo was one of her favorite pastimes and she frequently won ( or at least said she did!). Although she had been homebound for the past several years, she was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and older sister, Marlene Wilkins. She is survived by her sister, Maribeth Leonard Moran, her children and numerous grandchildren.
Her family would like to thank especially the nurses and staff at Peoria Good Shepard because they provided such loving, personal care to their mother.

My mother also grew up in Rock Falls/Sterling, Illinois and knew Donna for many yrs. We just lost our mom too a few days ago. I am so, so sorry for your loss, as I loved Donna's family and watched the kids grow up.
Donna told me many great stories, when she was a little kid she would cut thru this guys gas station on the way to school each day instead of going to the corner and around. She said it was a full service station and she would stomp on the cord that rang the bell so MY UNCLE would come running out to wait on his customers! He hung out in Glendale in the summers and would come see Donna and I at the office lots of times, they had some good laughs over him knowing her as a child.
I miss Don Sell dearly, think of him all the time, and Donna too, she was the best boss a girl could ever have, taught me the insurance business from the ground up. Ilove you all, and hang in there, love comes your way always! Marsha
