Dorothy A Weber

After she graduated from Carl Schurz High School in Chicago, she later went on to work at Arizona Highway Employee’s Federal Credit Union (now Canyon State Credit Union) for 43 years. During her 43 years there, she went on to retire as assistant manager after which she continued to work part time until she turned 82.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters Susan DeRoche of Antioch, IL, Vickie (Joseph Moody) Oliver of Glendale, AZ; son Gary (Pam) Kostelny of Mesa, AZ; 3 grandchildren Karl (Connie) Kostelny, Alicia Mayle, Robert Kostelny; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and brother Richard Olsen of Glen Mills, PA.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Raymond Olsen, Jr., Kenneth; sons-in-law Curtis Oliver, Daniel DeRoche and grandson Brandon Oliver.

Dorothy was a devout Lutheran and very proud of her Norwegian heritage.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at First United Methodist Church of Glendale 7102 N. 58th Dr. Glendale, AZ at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please donations can be made in Dorothy’s name to First United Methodist Church.
