Earl was born in Des Moines, IA on Jan. 12, 1941 and died peacefully in his sleep on Wed. Mar. 15. He graduated from Keaokuk H.S. where he was a high school all-american and voted into the IA Prep Hall of Fame. He was a 3 yr. IA Hawkeye (Big 10 title in 1960). He was a retired teacher from Apollo H.S. where he was the head football coach for 3 yrs; before coaching at Glendale Community college for 15 yrs. (2 national titles). Earl was baptized on July 4, 1980 and was a strong Christian the rest of his life. Faith, family and football were his passions. He is survived by his wife Dee, Greg & Kim Gualdoni, 3 granddaughters and 3 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Mon. Apr. 3 at 11am at Desert Christian Fellowship, 15th Ave. & Northern. Memorials may be made to D.C.F. or G.C.C. football.
