Edna Pearl Shroyer

Edna Pearl Shroyer, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Enda was a valley resident since May 1964. She and her family moved her from Valparaiso, Indiana. She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church. Born to Louella (Hilliard) Jeffers and William Riley Jeffers on June 19th,1925. Taught Sunday school for years, also a member of the Methodist Women's Society and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Edna helped organize the ANASAZI chapter of FAR in Glendale, of which she is a charter member. Enda's greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Shroyer in 2005; and her son Elmer (Buddy) in 2015. She is survived by her son James Schroyer (Vicky); and grandchildren, Dr. Jason Shroyer, Ryan Shroyer, Jamie Willoughby, Stephanie Goodloe, Tremayne Peckham and Aimme Green.

A visitation for Edna will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 5510 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85013. with funeral service to follow. A graveside service will at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
