Edward Joseph Thompson, Jr. passed away on July 1, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ.

He was born on June 22, 1959 to Edward Thompson, Sr. and Mae Chosa in Chicago, Illinois. Edward started his education in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Cortez High School in Phoenix, AZ. He then served in the US Army.

He is survived by his son, Travis Jongsma, and his daughters, Stephanie and Jessica, four sisters – Yolanda, Angeline, Marcia, and Cathy and an older brother, Harold.

The funeral viewing and service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes
