

The family moved to San Diego, Bay Park neighborhood. Emily Grew up, bought a home, raised her children and cared for her elder parents in this same neighborhood.
Emily loved baseball as a little girl. She attended Padre games at Lane Field. Her favorite players were Luke Easter & Tony Gwynn.
She was a huge Chargers fan, she owned the “Zaznibar” on Morena Blvd. The Chargers players would come in after practice at USD playing shuffleboard and pool.
Emily and her husband Roy McCann were married for 32 years until his passing on September 2, 2010. They held Chargers season tickets for over 30 years.
Emily was well liked by many people. She was a generous, kind, loving woman. Always giving to both public and private worthy causes.
In the 70's she worked at Dean Spencer tax office. She formed a partnership with Spencer, Martinez & McCann, a tax and bookkeeping firm. She later became sole owner until she sold the business at age 77.
She especially loved going to Las Vegas, Nevada. She became attached to the San Diego casinos where she was incredibly lucky. She really enjoyed poker tournaments, doing quite well. She continued to enjoy many more casinos after her move to Glendale, Arizona with Troy & Debbie.
She loved all her friends and family unconditionally.
She is survived by her children: Mark Stanley and his spouse Kim Debaca, Renee McIver and her spouse Kevin McIver, Troy Collins and his spouse Debbie Collins. Her grandchildren, Ryan McIver and Logan Collins. Great grandkids, Dominic & Jayden Martinez and Kahlan, Kara & Kinnley Longley.
Celebration of Life will be held on September 30, 2025 at 12:30 pm at the Marina Village Event Center, Marine Room 1936 Quivira Way San Diego, Ca 92109
