It's been so long since you've been gone.  I  miss you son.....  you loved your brothers so much.  So much has happened since you've been gone.  Andy graduated from college. I woke up in the middle of the night.....my heart was so heavy.  31 years ago you came into our lives.   I miss you so much.  I miss your smile.  I miss your laugh.  Erik, you never met a stranger......you had a heart of gold. You always thought the best of others and made them feel special.   You always wanted to help those in need and was  there for the underdog.  You love your brothers.....you were a good big brother, they miss you so much.  You constantly told us, " I love you".  Your teachers described you as sweet.....they were so right.   I believe that you are surrounded by your Grandparents.  You are so loved by so many.

This is very belated but since we have recently lost our son Scott and found out about the loss of your son Erik, we have some idea of what you have gone through.  We pray that you are finding some rest and peace, that which eludes us at present. It is said that 'it is in death that we find eternal life' and now dear Erik can thrive fully. There is no doubt he is with God now. My sympathy to the bereaved family. I am truly, truly sorry.

Erik was the kindest, most thoughtful, enthusiastic, energetic person I have met in a long while. He was excited about his future helping others. My heart is so saddened by the loss of Erik.  I pray that each of you will find comfort in your memories of him during this most difficult time.
