Erna Emma Anderson

Born in Germany, Erna spent her early years there before meeting the love of her life, Henry, an American Airman. Their love story eventually brought them to Arizona, where she built a life centered on family, faith, and joy. Erna was a devout member of her church community, generously volunteering her time to monitor and care for the youth congregation.

Erna was known for her bold and beautiful personality. She was wonderfully strong-willed, fiercely protective of her loved ones, and always the life of the party. Her kindness and caring nature made her a true blessing to all who crossed her path.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Henry; her cherished daughter, Tanja; her precious great-grandson, Torrian; and her parents and all but one of her siblings.

She is survived by her devoted children: Leane, Lolita, Theodore, Elsebeth, Veronika, and Devion; her sister, Waltraud, of Germany, the last of her siblings; her grandchildren Tammiccia, Audra, Jason, Jamel, Ronald, Dominique, Joshua, and Ginna; and her great-grandchildren Tanja, Henry, Amara, and Natalia.

Erna's passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of those who loved her. While she will be profoundly missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved Henry and resting in eternal peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, US, on October 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
