Eufracio Huberto Tapia, Jr, age 70, of Lakeside, AZ, passed away on May 04, 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on February 5, 1953 to the late Eufracio Tapia and Theodora Tapia (Jiron) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended Franfurt High School in Frankfurt, Germany, graduating class of 1972. He committed his life for 3 years to the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1974. He also served in the Army National Guard in Flagstaff, Az for 2 years. Eufracio worked as a Mechanic Welder. On December 17, 1971 he married Juanita (Jenny) Sanchez (Tapia) in Flagstaff, Arizona.
After his service he and his wife and young daughter Monica moved to Flagstaff, Arizona from Frankfurt Germany where they had their second daughter Michelle. In 1979, he moved to Phoenix with his family and lived there until he and Jenny retired in 2013 where they found their beautiful home in Lakeside, Arizona.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, hunting, fishing, being outdoors in nature and going to the casino.
Eufracio is survived by his loving wife Juanita (Jenny) of 52 years, his daughters, Monica (Mark) Kramer (Tapia) and Michelle (Coy) Bailey (Tapia), , brothers Raymond (Evelyn), Charles (Mary Ann) and Herbert (Veronica) Tapia, his 2 granddaughters, Marisa DelBosque (Kramer), Makayla Kramer and his grandson Mark Kramer, his grandson in law Emilio DelBosque, as well as his great grandson Cameron DelBosque; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Louie Tapia, Rudy Tapia and his sister Isabelle Tapia.

A Memorial service for Eufracio will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. Following the memorial service will be a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at National Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
