My brother Zeke made my childhood interesting and fun.  He and my brother Ruben were members of the Future Farmers of America Club in high school and that meant rabbits, pigeons, and beekeeping! I also remember cake baking competitions he and my sister Prisila had which ended with eating and judging …my favorite part! One summer we traveled to California to pick peaches and we ended up bringing back  jars of peaches he had canned.  I remember him helping with my reading.  We had the old Dick and Jane readers.  Dick and Jane had a sister named Sally so whenever that word came up in the story he would give me a hint by pointing at my sister Sally and saying “What’s her name?”.  
I was his baby sister and his patience and kindness made me feel special. I suspect heaven’s gotten a little more interesting and fun since his arrival!

A wonderful and great man of God, my Tio Zeke went home with the Lord. I always admired the love and kindness my Tio showed towards his family and friends but what I loved most of all was his love for Jesus. He was a prime example of a believer. Even when I grieved the loss of my father at a young age, Tio Zeke checked on me to see if I was okay. I will always remember that. He had a big heart and a smile that lit up a room. He will truly be missed.💜

I am so blessed too be your 2nd son. I love you dearly an have an ache in my heart as I write this meesage too you Dad. I cannot put into wordsj ust how grateful I am too be your son. I am a Man today only  because of You Dad. Thank you for introducing me too Jesus an showing me He is the Only One who can save me today an every day moving forward. I cant wait too see you again Dad. I LOVE YOU DEARLY

To my Tia Jesse and my cousins. I ask that the Lord brings you peace and comfort so that you are able to grieve, with hope, knowing that one glorious day you will be reunited with my Tio Zeke. 
My Tio Zeke always treated me with love and kindness. When I was in his home he welcomed me and I felt it. 
I will always remember the day I told him I was getting married. I was 18 years old. He hugged me with a sense of pride and joy. That hug sent  me a message of welcome to manhood. 
My Tio Zeke finished his race. He understood his relationship with the Lord. He identified himself in Christ Jesus.

Even in your final days your presence was the best thing I could've ever asked for. You never failed to put a smile on my face and i’m going to miss your amazing hugs and you screaming “babas in the box” at the house. I wish I could spend eternity with you but I know you’ll be watching over me and making sure i’m okay. Thank you for everything you did for me, tiana and mom, we will always be thinking of you, everyday and night. I will forever be your bleerz🕊️💕

My favorite memory was just recently... When my mom was in the hospital. I had just parked at the hospital and my Tia Jessie called me to tell me that she couldn't find Zeke. I tell her I'm walking up to the doors now I'll help her. I find her at the entrance going crazy saying she left him right here outside to park car. I run in the hospital to try to see if I can find him in there and no luck ...we are searching everywhere...we can't find him!!! He just disappeared!!! Then my Tia gets a call - it's Tio and he is with my mom! How???? When??? What??? We get to the room and he is sitting there grinning from ear to ear just laughing. I was like Tio how did you get here??? He says, I took a ride! He apparently told a nurse outside he was looking for "Rufina Flores" and they took him up to the room in a wheelchair! It was so funny cause he was with my mom the whole time we were searching for him! 😂 This is the picture I took of him that day as he was explaining his adventure! ❤️ Just so happy and mischievous! 😂

To the Family: This will be hard, but please know that you are all in my prayers, as I know the pain far too well. May God be with you all during this difficult time. I know my Tio Zeke will be watching over you all ❤️ Xoxo's

Loved my cousin, Zeke, so kind. Proud of his life as a Vietnam Veteran & bravery & service to our country.  He had great smile that radiated his love for his family .  May the Lord’s Love & peace comfort his wife & children , grandchildren & all the Ferreira family.  ❤️  Lovingly, Mary & German Perez.

Hi Tio. I am sorry I can't be here in person, but I want to tell you I love you. I am very thankful for you and for always talking to me about Jesus. I am also very thankful for the time you took to teach me guitar and how to read music. It is a treasure to me and something I will pass down to my son Amos. 
I love you Tio.

Tata always had a knack for falling asleep at random times ❤️ I'll miss his little tata power naps.
