He was born on November 16, 1946 in Huntington Park, California to the late Gordon and Charlene Ervin.
Skip married Junetta Getz on August 19, 1979. They have shared almost 43 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife Junetta, seven children Laura Cook, Gerald Getz, Cheryl McDonald, Melissa Savage, Becky Ervin, Steve Ervin & Justin Ervin, half brother Bruce Gillette, 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In addition to his parent’s two sons Christopher Getz and Floyd Ervin, II preceded Skip in death.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 1PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. He will be laid to rest with his two sons in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
