

Floyd Claude Thomas Pearson, lovingly known as “Tommy,” passed away on August 3, 2026, just shy of his 70th birthday on August 31st. Born in 1956 in Lubbock, Texas, Tommy was the son of Edna Giles Pearson Morris and John Joe Lee Pearson. His life was marked by curiosity, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family.
Tommy had a lifelong fascination with electronics and space—interests that reflected his inquisitive mind and the joy he found in understanding how things worked. He was also a devoted and hardworking member of Etico Construction, where his reliability, skill, and strong work ethic earned the respect of everyone who worked alongside him.
He has now joined many cherished family members who passed before him: his mother Edna, his father John, his stepfather Carl Morris, his brothers Samuel Paul Pearson and Jerry Nat Pearson, and his nephew Samuel Joseph Pearson. Their memories remain an important part of his story.Tommy is survived by his wife Jeanine; his children Wendi and spouse Jovan, Alex, and Jacinta and spouse Angel; and his grandchildren Anjelica, Aaron Jr., Philip, Kashani, Navayh, Ausjhnaye, and Ezra.
He also leaves behind his great-grandson Zachary, eight stepchildren, and numerous step-grandchildren who were part of his large and loving extended family. His surviving siblings—brothers Johnny, Larry, David, Tony, and Spencer, and sisters Kathy and Dinah—carry forward the bond of a close-knit family. Tommy is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews who knew him as a steady, caring presence throughout their lives.
Services
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glendale, Arizona, on Tuesday, August 11th at 10:00 a.m. Tommy will be laid to rest at Glendale Memorial Park in Glendale, Arizona, at 11:15 a.m., immediately following the church services.
Tommy’s legacy is one of curiosity, hard work, and deep devotion to the people he loved. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
