Being a Senior in high school, you opened your house to me when I needed it. I asked you if I could pay rent. You said “no”. When I said I could mow the lawn or wash your windows, you said “I have people doing that. Just be a kid and be safe”. One night, you called me downstairs to the couch. You were doing your bills and pretty much said, “make sure your bills are paid, you put money away then have fun with the rest”.
Thank you for being there for me. I have never forgotten your generosity.
