Francis ‘Frank’ Duckart, 84, of Anthem, AZ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2015. He was born June 21, 1930, in Ladysmith, to the late Henry and Beulah (Searls) Duckart. Frank served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and then finished his Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Wisconsin. On March 23, 1965, he married Jean Hosken in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and they were married for 49 years. He worked as a claims adjuster in Wisconsin for Sentry Insurance until his retirement at age 63. Frank and Jean spent ten years in Loudon, TN, before moving to Anthem in 2008. He is survived by his wife Jean; two children, Kathy Elliott of Doha, Qatar and Steve (Amy) Duckart of Anthem; four grandchildren, Morgan Elliott of Flagstaff, Sean Elliott of Doha, Qatar, Zachary Duckart and Mason Duckart both of Anthem; two sisters, Patricia (Jim) Rude of Fond du Lac, WI, and Charlotte Krueger of Whiting, WI. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers (Donald, Richard and Wayne).
